The Union County Museum is located on the first floor of the restored Flynn Office Building on Historic Main Street in Union South Carolina. This local museum is a source of great pride for the City and County of Union.
Fun Fact: Since 2018, the museum houses the largest source of genealogical material in the county with the recent addition of over 2,500+ books and microfilm, donated by the Union County Carnegie Library after renovations.To discover, identify, and collect the artifacts, archives, and genealogical and historical materials which may help to establish and illustrate the history of Union County, South Carolina.
To provide for the preservation of such material and for its accessibility, as far as may be feasible, to all who wish to examine or study it.
To serve as a focal point for the dissemination of information regarding Union County, South Carolina and its history.
